Thursday afternoon walk down and back up the Corso

There will be lots of cat photos in this blog

because there are lots of cats around town who patiently wait for me
to take their picture.
I'm not sure they belong to anyone in particular,
but rather to everyone.

What I see the first thing in the morning

after I open the shutters.

Look Up and you can spot

interesting things.

Note the brown shutters, with the doggy in the attic window;
that's the apartment I stayed in last year in April.
It's next door to the wine shop pictured above.

The far building on the right is the apartment I'm in this year

Out of the way

small chapel always open

for prayer or contemplation

or if you are tired of climbing

you can rest there.

Shops open about 10:30 to 11:00 a.m.

Items are brought out for display

Around 2:30 displays goes back in

Shops close until about 5:00 p.m.

Food and other items comes out again until about 8:00 p.m.

Restaurants open around 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

There are ones that cater to tourist, especially elderly

American tourist who eat at 4:00 p.m.
