Going to Rome for lunch was not simple
First take the little orange village bus
to the bus station
then a big bus to Chiusi (QC)
to the train station
then train for 2 hours to Rome
then cab to Piazza Navona
repeat back to Montepulciano
except the small bus doesn't
run at the hour we returned, so
we walked back UP the hill into
the village, with a stop for
dinner, then on to the apartment.
9:20 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Worth every minute
These seats were reserved for pregnant women
and handicapped
but we didn't let that stop us
