Saturday Plans with Jude and others

1.  Go to small farmer's market in Chianciano Terme, 

with, Maria, the landlady and Diane, a resident of 4 months
in the apartment just above mine.

ACCOMPLISHED

We purchased
zucchini, asparagus, carrots, tiny potatoes,
lemons, ginger, onions, red oranges (we
can't tell what makes them 'red' oranges)

One fish vendor
One for vegetables
To the left, unseen here
a vegetable and fruit vendor
and a vendor of cured meats, cheese
and bread and spreads for crostini

we cooked eggs
with asparagus, tomatoes,
thinly sliced chicken
and shaved parmesan

 Didn't sleep last night

Jude has a cold and needs rest

There was to be, or was, a fireworks display at the Grand Piazza
to start at 10:00 p.m.  We arrived at 10:30 and stayed until 11:00 p.m
when we gave up and walked home.
