Making the Apartment my Home Away from Home

I was here an entire week before rearranging furniture.

I asked permission then brought in a table from my bedroom and placed it under the
window.  I prefer the look of the ancient table without cloth, but bought one
in the spirit of being a good tenant and not further distressing the table.

I brought in a side chair from my bedroom, as well, to make a
living room grouping.

Angling the dining table allows more floor space.

Previous arrangement.

Betty left today
I always enjoy my time with her.
She was able to "stop and smell the basil".

Oh good, there are drawers here

Behind this lovely tapestry
is a door to the outside hallway.
Seems you can rent just a bedroom.

There is a music academy nearby
and professors and students do stay here, so being able to rent a
bedroom only is helpful to them.

This hangs over the mantel in the master bedroom

The EYES

This is the MYSERY piece
It appears to be two quite different
styles and periods of furniture that have been merged to create
one piece; to what purpose I'm not sure.
Both parts open so that does
create storage if you don't mind standing on your
head to use the bottom piece.
